Donald Santry has been practicing with Miller Oral Surgery since March of 2001 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He previously practiced in Hershey and Lebanon for 25 years. He is certified in Pediatric Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1969 and also received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 1973. At the West Virginia University School of Medicine, Wheeling Division, he was a resident of Oral Surgery from 1973 to 1976. Dr. Santry was the past President of the Central Pennsylvania Society of Oral Surgery; past alternate delegate to AAOMS and past delegate to PSOMS. He is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Hershey Medical Center.
 
 
 
He lives in Hershey with his wife Ruthann. They have three grown children; Judd, who lives in Colorado; Brett, who lives in Virginia and Katie, who lives In Colorado. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, hitting the ski slopes, vacationing at the beach with his family and playing with his first granddaughter, Ivy.
 
Michael E. Andrews, D.M.D

He attended Lebanon Valley College where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry in 1986.
Furthering his education at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Andrews went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1990. From 1990 to 1994, he was chief resident in Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Michael Andrews has been practicing with Miller Oral Surgery since August of 2002. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. His certifications Include Pediatric Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Dr. Andrews currently resides in Lebanon with his wife, Jess and two children; 16 year old son Michael and 8 year old daughter Claire. His love of the outdoors is reflective among his many hobbies which include hunting, fishing, golfing and the nurturing and maintaining of his bonsai trees.
 
Shaun C. Bortel, D.M.D.

Shaun C Bortel
 
Shaun Bortel is a native of South Central Pennsylvania. He was raised In Hershey, Pennsylvania; graduating from Hershey High School in 1988. In 1992, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Albright College.
Dr. Bortel received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Temple University in Philadelphia where he graduated Cum Laude In 1996. He was a resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Cincinnati from 1996 to 2000.
Dr. Bortel has been with Miller Oral Surgery since 2003. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. His certifications include Pediatric Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
 
 
Byung Joo, D.M.D

 
 
Dr. Joo grew up in the neighboring state of New Jersey. He earned his BA with Magna Cum Laude honors from the prestigious Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He attended University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey Dental School, where Dr. Joo accepted a Health Professional Scholarship and was commissioned as an Ensign into the US Navy as a dental officer.
He was selected to attend general practice residency at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton where his passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery started. He accepted assignment as a general dentist to Yokosuka Japan where he further pursued the interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Upon completion of his overseas duty as a general dentist, Dr. Joo was accepted into the Navy's Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at the Naval Medical Center, serving as a Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Joo then went on another voyage back to Japan as staff surgeon, this time stopping in Okinawa with the US Marines for two years before his final Navy assignment at US Naval Hospital in Yokosuka, serving as department head. He served 12 years in the US Navy attaining rank of Lieutenant Commander and is proud to be a military veteran. Due to his extensive time spent in Japan, Germany and Korea, Dr. Joo is also an accomplished linguist, truly fluent in Korean, German, and Japanese. He is a Diplomate of ABOMS and is a Fellow of AAOMS
After traveling and working around the world, Dr. Joo comes to Pennsylvania with his wife Kana and two children. He is looking forward to providing outstanding service to the wonderful communities of Harrisburg and Hershey. Dr. Joo will be accepting new patients beginning August 1, 2016.
